Fall Manicure: Hedgehog

Hi, everyone! Today I have another fall inspired manicure for you. I have quite few ideas for fall manicures, so I decided to call the series of these posts "Fall manicure". I'll try to show some easy fall manicure ideas too, because I know not all of you are fans of nail art. Last week we were talking about hedgehogs and I came on an idea to do hedgehog on nails. To me they're  such cute animals and I didn't have idea, how it will came out on nails, but in the end I was pretty satisfied.

As a base I used OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fein! This will probably be one of my go to polishes for fall, it's perfect for this season. On middle finger I did a hedgehog head with OPI Don't Pretzel My Button, Essence I'm a Viator and Maybelline 23. On my thumb I decided to do a whole hedgehog and it came out pretty ok. On all other nails I did dots and I'll use dots a lot in my future nail art's, so I hope you won't mind.

Because I know, there will be some of you, who will ask for tutorial, here it is:

Step 1: Paint your nails with selected color.

Step 2: Use a nude polish and do a semicircle on a top of your nail.

Step 3: For this step you'll need brown polish and a thin brush. With brush do short strokes, a bit over nude polish and a bit over grey. That will present prickles. Make sure, you won't have too much polish on your brush, so that prickles will came out better.

Step 4: With nude polish and a brush draw ears.

Step 5: Use a black polish and a dotting tool and do 3 dots for eyes and a nose.

Step 6: Use a top coat to seal your manicure.
